Presley - Hound Dog for Adoption in Wake Forest, North Carolina

Presley is a handsome puppy, a very smart cookie and a really Good Boy. He learned "sit" very quickly and figured out how to use a doggy door while watching the house dog use it. He's a quick learner and will be ready for consistent leash training and learning new commands and tricks. He gets the puppy zoomies and loves lots of playtime and chew toys. We're still working on potty-training but it's coming along (only has occasional accidents with #1). Presley sleeps quietly in his crate through the night from 8:30 pm to 7 am. Carry him immediately outside when he comes out of the crate in the morning - do not pass Go - and he will quickly do all of his bathroom business. Presley is perfectly happy exploring outdoors as well as having quiet time and naps in the crate throughout the day. Meals are currently three times/day at around 7 am, Noon and 5 pm and he's been eating them in his crate with the door open. Favorite toys are chew toys, squeaker toys, tug-of-war and balls - well everything really! He's teething so be sure to offer some sturdy chew toys and move cords, remotes, books and anything near the floor up higher so they're not accessible. He's soft and cuddly but has sharp teeth and is still tempted to chew on arms, fingers and hands (thinking it's playtime). He enjoys lots of tummy rubs and tickles. Presley gets along great with other dogs and has gone nose to nose with kissing a cat (and he liked it). This fun little guy will bring someone great joy and companionship!
