Valentina is a 1-2 year old hound mix weighing in at about 40 pounds of pure love, laughter, and personality.
If you're looking for a dog with character, Valentina has enough for an entire kennel full of dogs. This sweet girl is equal parts cuddle bug, comedian, and professional couch flopper. One minute she's happily enjoying a snack, the next she's dramatically throwing herself across the couch like a fish that just washed ashore. We aren't exactly sure why she does it, but she seems to think it's hilarious, and honestly, so do we.
Valentina loves her food, adores treats, and never says no to a new toy. She is dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and has never met a comfy spot she didn't immediately claim as her own. Cats are still a mystery, but everything else about her is easy to love.
After a rough start in life, Valentina has finished her heartworm treatment and is doing wonderfully. Now she's ready to leave her past behind and find the family she's always deserved.
She has a gentle soul, a goofy spirit, and the kind of face that can make even the worst day better. Whether she's snuggled up beside you on the couch or entertaining everyone with her dramatic fish-flop routine, Valentina is guaranteed to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your home.

She just loves everybody, is perfect in her crate and loves to sit in your lap and get all the lovins she can get.
She was extremely emaciated and weighed only 30 pounds when she came into the rescue, she was also heartworm positive.
She is now a healthy 52 lbs and heartworm free!
