Cypress - Hound and Australian Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Stuarts Draft, Virginia

Cypress and his siblings came from an overcrowded shelter. They are about 14 weeks old and our best guess is they’re Hound maybe Australian Shepherd maybe Pyrenees mix.
Cypress is a very calm Puppy. He walks great on a leash. He knows how to use a doggie door to go in and out and is about 90% housebroken using the doggie door. He loves other dogs and absolutely adores being pet and loved on.

Cypress is in a foster home with lots of other dogs of all sizes and shapes. He seems scared of cats when we go on walks and he sees them. He loves kids.

Cypress is available with a preapproved application and a scheduled meet and greet.


Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3 charitable rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, Va. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
