If you’re looking for a professional snuggler, part-time clown, full-time good boy, Boone would like to introduce himself.

Boone is a 3-year-old neutered male who is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and housebroken! He’s still got plenty of puppy energy, so don’t let that age fool you—this boy is ready to play, zoom, cuddle, repeat!

We call Boone our little Kentucky cocktail because, much like a good mixed drink, we have absolutely no idea what went into making him—but we know the result is pretty darn fantastic!

Boone is:
SUPER cuddly
Sweet as can be
Dog-friendly
Kid-friendly
Housebroken
Extremely food motivated
Working hard on learning that the crate is NOT, in fact, a tiny prison

And speaking of food... Boone has zero food aggression or resource guarding, which is fantastic! He just happens to believe that food is one of life’s greatest accomplishments and is VERY enthusiastic about it.

But Boone does have one big ask for his forever home.

Boone does not do well being left alone. His past included some rough situations, and being alone can be scary for him. Because of this, Boone needs another dog in his forever home. Having a canine companion gives him comfort, confidence, and someone to hang out with when his humans aren’t right beside him.

Boone isn’t looking for perfection. He’s looking for a family who understands that sometimes the sweetest dogs come with a little baggage from their past—and who is willing to help him learn that his future is going to be MUCH better.
