Creed - Hound Dog for Adoption in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan
CREED
Hound
🇺🇸
Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan
August 12th
male, large, young
DESCRIPTION
At almost 9 months old, this sweet boy is more than happy to roll over and offer you his belly. He's gentle taking treats, doesn't jump up on people and already knows sit, come and leave it. He has even been allowed off leash in a rural setting and reportedly did well.
He is housebroken and does well with other dogs. He does well with dog friendly felines but will chase a cat who is apprehensive towards dogs. He has not been exposed to children though we think he may do well with slow and appropriate introductions.
His former owner shared he can be a little apprehensive when first meeting new people, although here at the shelter he has done really well with meeting strangers.
At 9 months old he is still a young dog with plenty of learning ahead of him but he already has a wonderful foundation.
Please call 906-632-2519 if you have any additional questions or would like to schedule a meet and greet with Creed. Messages through social media as well as Petfinder are not always able to be closely monitored. If you live in Chippewa County you may qualify to take Creed home on an extended home trial before adoption.
