DESCRIPTION
Hi there! My name is River and I am 13 years old. I am a sweet, curious girl that loves to explore and take walks to smell the flowers. Despite my age, I still have some pep in my step and will prance when I walk! I came into the shelter as a stray, and unfortunately, no one came forward to claim me. In my short time at the shelter, I have been tested with other animals and I do well with other calm dogs and I seem to be pretty disinterested in cats. I could do well in a home with children that are respectful of my age and the boundaries that come with seniors like me. I keep my kennel pretty clean and use the bathroom outside (preferably off leash - I likely had a fenced in yard in my past home so that is what I am used to) so while staff cannot guarantee I am housetrained, I sure show signs that I am! I am an older girl that deserves life outside of the shelter, so please come out to visit me!Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!
