DESCRIPTION
Henry is a 1 year old hound that was found by Animal Control.. Henry was emaciated and someone abandoned him in the woods here in Lincoln RI.. Henry has come along way in the short time he has been with us. He's packed on the pounds, we got him neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and his blood work came back great (negative for heartworm/lyme). Henry is still young, and we assume he never had any formal training prior. We will be honest, he needs someone willing to put the time and effort into some basic manners/training. He would do best in a active household, maybe someone that would love a great hiking buddy? He loves the water and being outside.. He has a fantastic nose and can find any treat that we've hidden from him, haha. We are unsure of how he is with children due to not knowing his history, we believe kids 13+ would be appropriate though. Henry has been great with keeping his kennel area clean and always goes to the bathroom outside. Henry loves new people, but he does need to be the only pet in the home.. He is reactive with other dogs, we are not sure why, but we believe he may have had a bad experience with another dog in the past.. If you'd like to hear more about this silly boy, or if you would like to schedule a meet and greet, give us a call at 401-333-0950
