Lucille - Hound and Beagle Dog for Adoption in Lexington, Massachusetts

Lucille is a sweet Beagle hound mix who looks like a miniature Black and Tan Coonhound. Her breeding is unknown as she was found stray hanging out in someone's yard in Virginia. Lucille can be a bit tentative in new situations but she's playful and energetic once she feels comfortable. She does well with other dogs and even tolerates cats. She might do best in a home with another dog who can help her gain confidence and learn about life as a pet. She's doing better every day with her Virginia caregivers and will make the trip to New England in early November.

About our rescue
We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in foster homes throughout the area or in some cases in the south waiting to be transported north. We do not have a physical shelter. However, meet and greets are set up for approved applicants.

Once the phone interview is completed, we will check your vet reference as well as a personal reference and conduct a home visit.
