Hound Dogs Available for Adoption in Lakeland, Florida

Sweet Brando arrived yesterday from Seminole Reservation Animal Control and he's safe tonight because a foster stepped up.

This baby is only about 9 months old and already heartworm positive. He arrived absolutely starved to them, but thankfully they were able to get him started on his weight gain journey right away. His life has not been easy up to this point... but we're making sure it gets a whole lot better from here.

Dogs on the reservation must have rescue placement — they are not adopted out directly — so when we saw Brando needed help, we were more than happy to step up for him.

And goodness... is he SWEET. Pure sugar. The kind of dog that makes you wonder how he's still so loving after everything he's been through.
