Just like Belle from Beauty and the Beast, our Belle is curious, gentle, and always eager to discover what's around the next corner. She has a wonderful sense of adventure and would love nothing more than to explore the world with her special person by her side.

But beneath her adventurous spirit is an especially sweet heart. Belle loves making new friends, soaking up attention, and being part of the action. Whether she's checking out a new walking trail, investigating interesting smells, or enjoying some quality cuddle time, she brings a little extra joy wherever she goes.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

The hound dog breed is a diverse group known for their incredible hunting abilities and keen sense of smell. These dogs are esteemed for their athleticism, endurance, and loyalty, making them excellent companions for active individuals and families alike. With a rich history of assisting hunters in tracking and trailing game, hounds possess a strong prey drive and a distinctive bay when on the hunt. Hounds come in various sizes and coat types, each with its unique characteristics, but they all share a remarkable intelligence and a friendly disposition.
