Beth - Hound Dog for Adoption in Defuniak Springs, Florida

Looking for a foster home for our sweet wildflower, Beth.
Beth is just shy of a year old, weighs 40 pounds, and is heartworm negative. She's a little bashful, and still figuring out that the world isn't such a scary place.
The problem? She can't learn what it's like to be a family dog while sitting in a kennel.
Beth doesn't need a hero. She just needs someone willing to give her a couch, some patience, and a chance.

The hound dog breed is a diverse group known for their incredible hunting abilities and keen sense of smell. These dogs are esteemed for their athleticism, endurance, and loyalty, making them excellent companions for active individuals and families alike. With a rich history of assisting hunters in tracking and trailing game, hounds possess a strong prey drive and a distinctive bay when on the hunt. Hounds come in various sizes and coat types, each with its unique characteristics, but they all share a remarkable intelligence and a friendly disposition.
