Meet Patsy Cline!
This adorable girl is believed to be a hound/lab mix. She came from a hoarding situation and is lucky to be alive. The other animals that came from the same neglect case did not make it out of the shelter. Patsy was so sad when she first came to us, and we could tell she was looking for her friends. She is likely full grown and weighs about 40 pounds currently. At first we thought she was closer to 6 months, but our vet thinks she is actually about a year old. She still very much plays like a puppy!
Patsy is currently fostered with other dogs and does great. She hasn't really figured out playing yet, but we can tell she wants to. She enjoys zoomies in the yard and running around with toys. Patsy has slowly learned the "sit" command, which wasn't too hard to teach since she is VERY food motivated. This girl loves to eat!
Patsy gets really excited when she sees humans and is still learning how to have inside voices and to not jump up. She will thrive when given time to adjust in a home and with more time deidcated to helping her learn how to be a normal dog. We have finally started seeing her soft and snuggly side and this girl is SWEET! Her adorable floppy self is going to make a great pet for someone.
Patsy is almost completely potty and crate trained. Patsy's adoption fee includes all of her yearly vaccinations, microchip, spay, and prevention while in our rescue. She is heartworm negative. She has not been tested with dogs or kids. She is energetic and may do best without small kids in the home that she could knock over.
