Meet Jill — Your New Best Friend!

If you've been waiting for a dog who will steal your heart on Day One, your search is officially over. Jill is a stunning black-and-tan with secret brindle hound puppy with the most soulful brown eyes you've ever seen, a sweet white chest patch, and the kind of floppy ears that were made to be scratched.

Don't let those puppy dog eyes fool you — Jill is bold and confident! She's the type of pup who trots into a new situation with her tail wagging and her nose going a mile a minute. She's already figured out that tennis balls are the greatest invention in the history of the universe, and she will absolutely challenge you to a backyard game.

But here's the thing about Jill: she works hard and plays hard, and when it's time to wind down, she is all in on snuggles. This girl is a certified cuddlebug who loves nothing more than pressing herself up against her favorite person. And the best news? She sleeps through the entire night — tucked in right next to you, warm and cozy, like a living teddy bear in a little tuxedo coat.

Jill is sharp as a tack and eager to learn, making her a dream to train for the right family. She's looking for a home that will match her energy with outdoor adventures AND her softer side with plenty of couch time.

Jill is great with other dogs and kids. She's curious about cats and still learning how to behave around them.

If Jill sounds like the missing piece of your family, reach out today — a love like this doesn't wait around!

The J litter's mom Juniper came to us pregnant from our rescue partner in Tennessee. They were born on 1/17/26.

HOW TO ADOPT:

THIS dog is NOT in the shelter. For puppies in foster care, you MUST submit an application via EMAIL to smpetfinder@gmail.com. Please note in the email subject which puppy you are interested in.

Go to: http://www.smallmiraclesrescue.org
and click "How to Adopt". There you will find the dog application available for download.

The more information you provide, the faster the process is for all of us. Once you are approved to adopt, we will schedule an appointment to see the puppy in person and you will adopt and take it home that day.

Due to the (usual) speed and ease of our adoption process, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT RIGHT NOW. If you are not ready to adopt within the next couple of days, we totally understand - just wait to apply until you are ready.

Adoption Fees:

Before our dogs are available for adoption, they will always be spayed/neutered, vaccinated (Distemper, Parvovirus, Bordetella, Rabies as much as age-appropriate), stool sample checked for parasites, and dewormed.

Adoption fee for our dogs is $375, $40 for a microchip and registration and $25 for a 3 month supply of heartworm preventative, for a TOTAL of $440.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity.
