Hound and Cattle Dog Dogs Available for Adoption in Texarkana, Texas

Dexter is a 2-year old neutered male. He is a Hound Catahoula mix. He would do great with an owner who has acreage for him to run and explore. He is very sweet, but high energy. He would probably be best suited as an only dog. He will be protective of his person/people. He has been with our rescue since he was 8 weeks old. He was actually adopted and returned because they had small grandchildren and he has so much energy and they had no place for him to run it off.

The total cost of adoption is $175

Only the $75 transport fee is due to secure transport from our rescue in Texarkana, Texas to one of the 6 locations on our transport route. The $100 adoption fee is not due until you pick him/her up on the transport date at the location you select. You also have the option to designate someone else to pick him up.

Greg King Canine Recovery dog rescue is located at 484 Farren Road in Texarkana, Texas 75503. Once a month, we transport all pre adopted dogs and puppies to the following 6 cities because all of the shelters in our area are kill shelters, so we try to save all that we can by getting them adopted and transporting them to their new homes. These 6 cities are currently on our transport route.
