Thunder and Lightning - Havanese Dog for Adoption in Washington, Pennsylvania

Lost their owners. Lost their home. Fortunately they don't seem lost without each other. Thunder and Lightning are 9+ year-old siblings whose owners could no longer care for them. Newly groomed and looking quite spiffy with their wagging fluffy, pony tails, the two boys are friendly, curious and always on the make for treats. The shelter has not dampened their appetites and they have lots of energy to keep active people active.

Lightning, the slightly larger of the two (22 lbs), is willing to let little Thunder (18 lbs) take the lead. They have been around young children in supervised settings without incident. Both are crate-trained and housebroken, have been around other dogs but have not been tested in the company of cats.

Although they do not necessarily have to be adopted together, it would be optimum if they were and likely easier to transition to a new home having the comfort of a sibling companion. A discounted fee for both will be provided.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.
