Meet Duggee!

Duggee is a sweet 6-year-old Maltese/Havanese mix who has been through more than any little dog should have to. He was found abandoned alongside his sister, Fidget, a Husky who sadly passed away from cancer. The two were incredibly bonded, and losing his best friend has been a big adjustment for this sweet boy.

His foster mom actually fell in love with the name **Fuggler** and started calling him "Fuggie" as a nickname. But while he's been in foster, her daughter's favorite show has been *Hey Duggee*, and since "Duggee" was much easier for her to say, the name accidentally started sticking! So these days, Fuggler happily goes by **Duggee** - and honestly, we think it suits him perfectly.

Duggee is a gentle, loving boy who absolutely loves having someone to cuddle with. In fact, he's been spending his time with a 2-year-old who has become his little cuddle buddy while he waits for his forever home. He is potty trained, but he can also use a pee pad if needed. Because he and his sister were so dependent on each other, we're hoping his next home can give him plenty of companionship and help him feel secure as he adjusts to life without Fidget.

We would LOVE to see Duggee go to a home with kids who will play with him, cuddle him, and give him all the attention he deserves. We'd also love for him to have another dog in the home - someone who can become his new best friend and help fill the friendship-shaped hole left behind by Fidget.

Duggee is also **very good in his crate**, which makes him a great little guy to have around while his family is busy or away.

After everything he's been through, Duggee deserves a family who will love him endlessly and show him that his next chapter can be his best one yet. He's lost a best friend, gained a new name, and now he's just looking for the family he can finally call his forever.
