Adopt Lola!

Lola is an adorable 1-year-old, 9-pound sweetheart who may be a Havanese or Poodle mix. While we can’t be certain of her breed, she appears to be non-shedding.

At the shelter, Lola was frightened and unsure, often hiding beneath her bed as if she wanted the world to disappear. But once she was given love, patience, and a safe place to land, everything began to change.

Lola now enjoys giving kisses, leaning against her person, and cuddling while watching TV. She coexists nicely with small dogs and cats, but we believe she could also be perfectly happy as the only dog in the home. Because she loves companionship, her ideal family would not leave her alone for long periods.

Lola walks well on a leash, and we are continuing to work on crate training and potty training. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and recently groomed.
Sometimes, all it takes is one person to give a frightened little soul a chance. Lola has already begun her beautiful new chapter—now she just needs a forever family to help her blossom.
