Lazarus is a beautiful boy with a heart as sweet as his handsome face! ❤️ He is calm, obedient, and an absolute people pleaser who loves to listen and make his humans happy. Every now and then his goofy, slightly clumsy side comes out, adding even more charm to his lovable personality.

Lazarus does wonderfully with his 7-year-old female Greyhound companion. He understands and respects her boundaries, making him a wonderful four-legged friend. He is also learning the art of leash walking and is doing very well—no pulling or lunging here!

This sweet boy can be a little timid around loud noises and big personalities. When he needs a moment, he simply retreats and then seeks out the calm, trusted person in the room. He is learning to navigate the world with confidence and does best with gentle encouragement.

At night, Lazarus can happily sleep in his crate when the house is quiet, or curl up on his bed and sleep through the entire night. He has not been tested with cats in his foster home.

Lazarus needs another dog in his forever home to be his companion and help him continue blossoming. A secure 6-foot fenced yard is also required.

His foster family loves him dearly, but sometimes loving a Greyhound means being strong enough to help them find the home that is just right for them. They are ready to let Lazarus begin his next chapter with a family who will love him as much as they do. 💙
