Tigger - Greyhound Dog for Adoption in Livonia, Michigan

G'Day - I am Tigger, a 3 year and 4 month old brindle male from Australia. I will be coming in on the 27th of June. I am about 34 kg, that would be 75 lbs approx.
I am a friendly, outgoing boy, with a confident and affectionate nature. I am personable and enjoy interaction, showing plenty of enthusiasm for both people and my surroundings. I have a fun, energetic side and enjoy keeping myself busy, whether thats exploring my environment or working out with enrichment toys like a kong. I can be quite bouncy, but also have the ability to relax and settle when given the opportunity.
I am a quick learner and have responded well to basic guidance such as collar pressure while walking on a lead. My nose takes me sometimes to zig zag a bit while walking, I have to investigate !! But with a bit of time and consistency I will show improvement on my walks.
I am comfortable in new environments and manage things like stairs or shiny floors with ease!
It seems that I do have a bit of a prey drive, I show strong interest in chasing behavior. I am very alert to my surroundings and can fixate on things like livestock or other dogs in the distance.
I am very energetic and engaging and will thrive on activity and mental stimulations. I have a great foundation and can learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
My perfect home would be one that can provide structure, regular exercise, along with guidance to help me channel my energy in positive ways. Are you my home that I can be well-rounded and become your companion?
