Greyhound Dogs Available for Adoption in Bondurant, Iowa

O Ya Star Power is a confident, curious, and affectionate girl! At 4 years old, she is energetic and playful! She loves exploring her environment, playing with toys, running around the back yard, and a good window. Star loves walks and does great on a leash. Star is a sweetheart - she will greet you excitedly every time you enter the room. She would love to cuddle on the couch with you, if allowed! Star is a goofy girl and loves to roach and toss her toys up to play with them.

Star does okay in her kennel - she might protest if you leave her in the kennel and are still at home with her, but once you leave, she adjusts quickly. Star does well with humans of all ages; she's been good with the other greyhound in her foster home; but she is too interested in cats to safely live with them.

This dog is being fostered in the Des Moines Area. We do not ship dogs. Adopters must be committed to meeting the dog in the area it is being fostered.

The adoption fee for a dog from HGA is $300.00. This fee pays for medical costs including spay/neuter surgery, shots, parasite treatments, teeth cleaning, microchip and microchip registration fee. Each dog also comes with a special sighthound collar and leash set and muzzle. There is a $30 non-refundable application fee.
