Miles - Great Pyrenees and English Pointer Dog for Adoption in Wantagh, New York

Hi! My name is Miles !

About Me:
• Breed: Great Pyrenees / Pointer mix
• Age: 1–2 years old
• Weight: 75 lbs of pure love
• Vetting: Fully vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative

My Story:
My sister and I found ourselves entirely on our own in a rural cemetery until a kind human stepped in to save us. They reached out to the rescue, and now I am safe, warm, and ready to find a family of my very own.

My Personality:
I am a big, gentle boy who absolutely craves human attention. If you are looking for a loyal shadow, I am your guy! I am still a teenager, so I have plenty of that fun, youthful energy. I will need a family who can give me regular exercise and a good outlet for my playtime. After a fun session of running around, I am more than happy to show you just how gentle a big dog can be.

Training Progress:
I am working hard on my manners! I am currently learning basic commands and doing really well with my leash training. I am very treat-motivated, which makes training a breeze because I will do just about anything for a tasty snack.

Social Life:
• Other dogs: Excellent! I get along great with canine friends.
• Cats: Perfect! I have lived with cats before and caused zero trouble.
• Humans: My absolute favorite. I just want to be near you.
