DESCRIPTION
Hi, I'm Marina! I'm a beautiful Great Pyrenees mix with a soft white and tan coat and a heart every bit as big as I am.
I came to Woodford Humane after my family had to move and unfortunately couldn't take me along. It was no fault of my own, and while that's a pretty big change for a girl like me, I haven't let it stop me from showing everyone just how incredibly sweet I am.
I'm a gentle, loving girl who has quickly won over the people caring for me. There's just something about a big fluffy dog with a soft personality to match, and I'm certainly making a case for myself.
I may not understand exactly why my life changed, but I'm ready to find the person who makes my next move my last one! If you've got room in your home and on your couch--for one very gentle giant, I'd love to meet you! Call Woodford Humane Society at 859-873-5491 to schedule an appointment to meet me!
ABOUT: GREAT PYRENEES DOG BREED
The Great Pyrenees is a majestic and noble breed known for its gentle demeanor and steadfast loyalty. Originating from the Pyrenees Mountains, these large and dignified dogs are renowned for their protective instincts and ability to work as livestock guardians. With their stunning white coats and imposing stature, Great Pyrenees exude an air of regal confidence while also possessing a gentle and affectionate nature towards their families. Their calm and composed demeanor coupled with their innate guardian instincts make them excellent companions for those seeking a devoted and majestic canine friend.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
