Meet Lucy!

Lucy’s story started with a little more excitement than most puppies can claim! Her mama, Elaine, came into our program pregnant and decided there was absolutely no time to waste — she began delivering her babies as we were picking her up from the vet and continued giving birth during the car ride to her foster home!

Thankfully, Lucy and her siblings were born safely into the Rubies & Rogues family and have spent their entire lives being loved and cared for in foster care.

Mama Elaine is a petite, approximately 40-pound fluffy girl who we believe may be a Great Pyrenees mix. Dad is completely unknown, so Lucy’s eventual breed mix and adult size are anyone’s guess!

What we do know is that Lucy is fluffy, precious, and officially ready to trade life with her siblings for a forever family of her very own.

Like any young puppy, Lucy will need a family prepared for all the fun that comes with puppyhood — potty training, basic manners, socialization, chewed-up things that probably shouldn't have been chewed, and lots and lots of love.

Adoption fee: $300, which includes veterinary care provided through our program.
