Maybelline Makeover - Great Pyrenees Dog for Adoption in San Antonio, Texas

True to her name, Maybelline Makeover has got some glamming up to do! Weighing in at just 58.7 pounds, this Great Pyrenees mix arrived severely underweight and in need of a burger (or ten)! She has been suffering from untreated allergies for quite some time as well, which caused all of her beautiful hair to fall out. But SNIPSA’s team is dedicated to helping her shine once again in a forever home!

Our medical team has started Maybelline on a special regimen to help her slowly put on weight and soothe her skin. While it might take a few weeks or months to see a big change, we know she’ll look like her true superstar self in no time.

Maybelline needs an owner who can quite literally help us nurture her back to health. Though she is very calm and quiet at this point in her journey, a brighter, bouncier personality may emerge once her itching subsides and she puts on a few calories. Already, she walks very well on her leash, rests easily in her crate, and loves to seek attention from people. She keeps her space clean and always goes potty outside. Not to mention, she can be silly and mischievous at times, popping her paws up to say hello when she gets excited! As a Great Pyrenees mix, you can expect her to be loyal, affectionate, and built for adventure. The Great Pyrenees breed is known to make excellent family pets—they are protective without being aggressive and are happiest when they have room to roam, whether that means roaming over to snuggle with you on the couch or exploring their backyard.

If you have a heart for the beaten down, open it up to Maybelline and help us with her final look. We are confident that her beautiful transformation is just around the corner!
