You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Casper is hard to contain, according to the family who signed him over to the shelter for rehoming. Part of it could be because he is an intact male, but it could also be because it's his breed, or because of inadequate fencing, or.... there are just so many reasons! We do want to be open and transparent before someone decides he looks like a big furry teddy bear and wants to take him home without full knowledge of his personality. At the shelter, we have found him to be "velcro," wanting to walk next to the human who has him under control by means of a leash. We were under the impression he had never been leash-walked, but he acts like a complete angel on leash, and does not react other than to "heel' as if he has been trained in obedience and never as a guard dog. What an amazing dog! At 100 pounds, he does have bulk, but has not given us any reason to mistrust him or feel that he would be difficult to control. Come meet this boy, if you have the resources to manage a guardian breed.
