DESCRIPTION

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We were sorry to hear that the senior dog's hatred of having a new younger friend when the kids moved back home was the reason that Cheyenne had to find a new home, but we are going to do all we can to help her get into another great home where she can be loved and adored, and given the time and exercise she needs to be happy once again. Cheyenne is four years old, and highly motivated to train through treats as well as through toys. She lived in a home, and was very loved. Here are some cute insights from her previous family: I

*Her birthday is February 22, 2022, name spelled Cheyenne. Her mom is a Labrador & her dad is a labrador mix. The picture of her with a blanket, that was her blanket. She likes to carry a small blanket, sheet or old scarf around, to either play with it, lay on it or ball it up & suckle it like a pacifier.

*If you point your finger at her like a gun & say 'stick em up', she'll sit back & raise her front feet.

While feeding her, tell her 'what do you do' & she'll sit down while you fill her food bowl until you tell her to go ahead.

*If you ask her 'you want upsies?' she'll jump up on you & sit on your hip like a child. So be ready to catch! lol (back legs around your waist & front legs around your neck)

*She loves car rides & water, loves to take a bath, but hates them from the water hose.

*She loves balls, so much that we couldn't let her have them inside the house. If the ball gets away from her, her fixation on it is so bad she does anything to get it, no matter where it is. When we come in from outside I tell her to 'drop it' & she'll drop the ball & come in. And it's the first thing she grabs when she goes out the door, even if it's just to use the bathroom, she wants to take her ball.

Does this happy, energetic girl sound like your dream dog for adventures of all kinds?

couldn't find the picture of her with the baby I was telling you about yesterday, but I had these two pictures of her. I forgot some of her info yesterday when asked, it was a bit emotional. Her birthday is February 22, 2022, name spelled Cheyenne. Her mom is a Labrador & her dad is a labrador & pit mix. The picture of her with a blanket, that was her blanket. She always carries a small blanket, sheet or old scarf around, to either play with it, lay on it or ball it up & suckle it like a pacifier. Which is why you can't use fabric softener when washing her blankets, because she suckles on them & the softener will make her sick. I forgot to bring her bowl & her little stash of blankets, I wash them often due to her suckling on them so much. I can bring those Monday & drop them off. if you'll give them to her new owner. Just let me know. If you point your finger at her like a gun & say 'stick em up', she'll sit back & raise her front feet. While feeding her, tell her 'what do you do' & she'll sit down while you fill her food bowl until you tell her to go ahead.
