Hi, I’m Saint Linguini!

My story started when I was found as a stray near a church in South Georgia. I eventually made my way to a rescue group, spent some time in a foster home, and now I’m with GPRA. I’m currently in boarding, but I’m hoping that’s just a short stop on my way to a foster or forever home!

Everyone says I’m a smart, friendly, affectionate boy who loves being around people. And if you like doggie hugs, you’re in luck because I give hugs! I also absolutely love being rubbed and loved on all over. Attention and affection are definitely high on my list of favorite things.

I’m a pretty impressive youngster, too! I’m house-trained and will actually go to the door and wait when I need to go outside. I’m also crate-trained, walk well on a leash, and I’m a very quick learner. I’m eager to please, so with someone willing to continue teaching me, I think I could learn just about anything!

I’m also quite the social guy. I’m good with dogs, cats, kids, and people, which means I have lots of possibilities when it comes to finding the right family.

I am still a puppy, though, so sometimes I get a little overly excited when I’m playing. I can get a bit mouthy or try some silly puppy behaviors that need redirecting. I just need someone who will give me consistent guidance and help me continue learning my manners. Did I mention I’m smart? I catch on quickly!

I’ve already been through quite a few changes for such a young guy, and now I’m ready for the best part of my story—a home where I can play, learn, cuddle, give plenty of hugs, and finally settle in with people who love me.

I’m doing my best in boarding, but a puppy like me belongs in a home. Could I come stay with you?
