Some dogs somehow manage to keep their hearts wide open, no matter what life has put them through. Harmony is one of those very special souls.

Harmony was found wandering in an area of Houston known for its large stray dog population. Rather than running from people, she was doing the opposite—gently seeking out kindness and asking for help. It was obvious she had recently had puppies, but despite every effort, no puppies were ever found. We believe Harmony was likely abandoned after raising her litter.

As if that wasn't heartbreaking enough, BB pellets were lodged between her shoulders, a painful reminder that not everyone she encountered treated her with the kindness she deserved.

Thankfully, those days are behind her.

Despite everything she's endured, Harmony has never stopped loving people. She is one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs you'll ever meet. She melts into gentle pets, happily soaks up attention, and greets everyone with a soft, trusting heart. She is wonderful with children, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and doesn't seem to mind the stray cats she's encountered either.

Harmony truly lives up to her name. She brings a calm, gentle presence wherever she goes and asks for nothing more than a family to love.
