Archie-Scottie - Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever Dog for Adoption in La Grange, Kentucky

You may recognize "Archie-Scottie" from when he was just "Scottie" during his first go-around with the Humane Society of Oldham County. Well, after being adopted, he learned to respond to Archie, so now he get a second name to go along with his second chance!

Archie-Scottie was returned to HSOC after a year in his home when his family moved into an RV. They let us know that he was "not happy" and "too big" for the space. But from what we can tell, Archie-Scottie still seems like the good ol' Scottie we remember, just a little older, a little more mellow, and still just as lovable.

He does not care for other large male dogs.
He is housetrained!
He is good with children!
He will turn just about anything into a game.
He is a total lover!

And yes, Archie-Scottie is super handsome, super lovable, and his head always looks just a little too big for his body, which only adds to his goofy charm.

This silly boy is a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix, weighs around 70 pounds, and is almost 4 years old.

Archie-Scottie has already had one home and one name change. Now he's hoping his second chance leads him to the forever home he's been waiting for.
