Meet Hazel — Our Bold, Beautiful Little Queen of the Pack!
Every litter has a leader, and in our family of eight adorable Great Pyrenees mix puppies, that honor belongs to Miss Hazel!
Hazel is one of the two largest puppies in the litter, right alongside her brother Otis. But while Otis is our laid-back, easygoing gentleman, Hazel has taken on an entirely different role. She's our confident, spirited, take-charge little lady who believes that life is an adventure and she should be right in the middle of every minute of it!
Miss Hazel doesn't take a back seat to anybody!
She's bold, proud, independent, and wonderfully self-assured. She doesn't take any guff from her brothers and sisters, and she's usually the first to investigate anything new or make sure the rest of the gang knows what's happening.
Nothing gets past this girl! Whether it's a new toy, an interesting sound, a game of chase, or something exciting happening across the room, Hazel is on it. She's bright, inquisitive, and determined not to miss a single moment of the action.
And if there's something going on, you can bet Hazel will be front and center!
But don't let that confident little personality fool you. Beneath her commanding presence is an incredibly loving, affectionate puppy who adores her people.
When Hazel loves you, she loves you fiercely!
She's generous with her sweet puppy kisses and absolutely loves being picked up, held, and cuddled in your lap. She'll happily settle in for some special one-on-one attention, soaking up every bit of affection you have to offer.
Of course, there's one little catch!
If something exciting catches her attention, cuddle time may be temporarily interrupted. There's an adventure calling, and Hazel has important puppy business to attend to!
That's our girl — affectionate one moment, off to conquer the puppy playground the next!
Hazel's mother is a purebred Great Pyrenees, and her father's breed is unknown. As a Great Pyrenees mix, she may grow into a large, intelligent, independent dog. Her naturally confident personality makes it especially important that she have a family committed to patient, consistent training, early socialization, and positive guidance.
We're looking for a family that will appreciate Hazel's bold spirit, nurture her intelligence, provide appropriate boundaries, and give her all the affection she so enthusiastically returns.
Hazel will receive her second round of puppy vaccinations on Thursday, October 22, and is scheduled to be spayed on Thursday, October 29, 2026. Following her recovery and veterinary clearance, she'll be ready to join her forever family!
If you're looking for a beautiful, bright, spirited little girl who will love you with her whole heart and keep life interesting every single day, Hazel may be your perfect match!
Submit an adoption application through Sierra Pacific Great Pyrenees Club Rescue and come meet our unforgettable Miss Hazel.
She may be little now, but this girl has the heart and confidence of a lioness — and enough love to fill your home!
