Eli is a big wooly being! While he can be insecure at times, he's enjoyed making new friends in the shelter environment. Eli may take a little time to get comfortable with new people, but once he's outside, his whole demeanor shifts. He will enjoy a large fenced area to survey and appreciate all the comforts of home.

Our volunteers can't say enough good things about Eli. They describe him as incredibly responsive, walking beside them with a calm, relaxed body and no tugging or pulling. He takes in the world around him with quiet curiosity, checking in often, sitting politely when asked leaning in to them for some gentle neck scratching. Eli will only be rehomed to a family without children or with kids at least 10 years of age, and as the only dog in his new home.
