You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Finn! He is a male Great Pyrenees, we believe he is around 11 months old and currently underweight at 60 pounds. Finn has silky soft white fur with some tan patches and freckles.
He is a big, goofy, sweet boy. He loves to follow people around the house and enjoys when the kids come home from school. He can still be shy around strangers but is a big lover once he warms up. He likes to lean against you for pets.
Finn enjoys playing with the large resident dog in his foster home. He likes to mouth play and will often try to initiate playtime, he is still a pup afterall. He would love a playful dog in his forever home but would also be fine as an only dog if he could still socialize with other dogs. He might be too much for little dogs.
He loves toys, especially shredding the soft ones. He is still learning that some household items aren't toys, so is crated when left home alone.
Finn is smart and already picked up on 'Sit', 'Shake', 'High Five', 'Lay Down', 'Kennel', and is currently working on 'Stay'. He LOVES treats.
He is potty trained. Still getting used to walks and will try to slip out of his collar but does well on a harness. He barks occasionally, mostly when he hears other dogs barking or walking by the yard. He does listen (most of the time) when told to stop.
Finn is a happy, affectionate, young dog waiting for a kind family to adopt him.
He is neutered and up to date on vaccines. Currently in a foster home in DFW area Texas. We do adopt out of state, but adopters are responsible for arranging their own transport. Adoption fee is $250.
