Meet Mabel Jane (MJ)! Big dog. BIG heart. Surprisingly little floof. MJ is a 4-year-old, 80–90 pound Great Pyrenees mix, but she somehow got the Pyrenees genes without inheriting the full-time shedding! Her DNA says she's half Pyrenees and half a delightful hodgepodge of other breeds. Basically, she's one-of-a-kind. MJ is the epitome of a gentle giant. She loves playing with the puppies in her foster home, enjoys a good romp around the yard, and then is perfectly happy to retire to the couch for a serious nap. She's a low-energy girl who believes life is best lived at a leisurely pace. She's also housebroken and crate trained, and this girl LOVES her crate. In fact, she'll often choose to curl up in there for a nap even when the door is wide open. We love a dog who knows how to appreciate her own bedroom! If you're looking for a sweet, loving companion whose heart is every bit as big as she is, MJ might be your girl.
