Loving Leander - Great Pyrenees Dog for Adoption in Burlington, North Carolina

This incredibly gorgeous, snuggly, wonderful baby boy is Leander! He came into rescue when his mama was abandoned with her freshly whelped litter of puppies. Thankfully a wonderful foster home took them in immediately and this baby boy had the benefit of an incredible puppyhood!
Leander is now 12 weeks old and weighing a perfect 20 lbs! Hes been to the vets since he was a peanut, getting fantastic vet care! He is now current on vaccines, deworming, and preventative! Additionally, he has been microchipped and neutered! He is a healthy, thriving baby boy and he cant wait to find his forever home!
In foster care this boy has had an incredible foundation. He was raised on a farm with a family where he has had a puppyhood where children have been handling him, snuggling with him and loving him since he was tiny! Hes been wonderfully socialized with other dogs, and cats, and even chickens and goats! Hes used to being off leash and trotting around following his foster family as they do chores outside. He loves a great balance of nature where he can laze in the sun and bird watch, but also loves to be inside snuggling up on the sofa soaking up all the love! He is doing great with house training and is super intelligent! He loves to play with stuffies, balls, and chewies. He has medium active puppy play now, though is expected to be a pretty mellow quintessential pyr type of gentleman. He dreams of a home where he can have a yard or a little land that he can relax on and enjoy! Hes looking for loving, snuggly parents who will adore him and a peaceful easy going country environment where a Pyrenees will thrive! He will be great with any combination of animals! Hes just looking for a home to call his own.
