When Kelly arrived she was terrified of everything; leashes, people, other dogs, etc. Kelly is slowly gaining confidence and is friendly with staff and new people, but the shelter is a rather scary place to be for any dog. Kelly would benefit from a quiet home that will give her time to decompress and help her gain confidence. Kelly is still a puppy, so training and socialization are important to set her up for a lifetime of success. She has been fearful of other dogs, so she may do best with a calm and confident dog that will give her time to come around. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Kelly home.
