DESCRIPTION

Hi there... I've been waiting to meet you. 🐾

I'm what they call a "gentle giant," which basically means I come in a big package but my heart is even bigger. I'm fully potty trained (yes, I'm very proud of that), I sleep peacefully through the night, and I'm happiest when I'm close to my people--whether that's lounging on the couch or quietly keeping you company around the house.

I'm very cuddly. I'll happily lean into you for pets, rest my head in your lap, or just sit beside you soaking up the moment. Being around people is my favorite thing--I'm friendly, affectionate, and always ready to make a new friend.

Outside? Oh, that's where my "enthusiastic dog" side shines! I love going for walks and taking in all the sights and smells. I like to think of myself as a bit of a nature observer--I notice everything. Birds, leaves, the wind... it's all pretty fascinating if you ask me.
I get along well with cats and have a calm, easygoing personality. There aren't any young kids in my foster home right now, but I haven't shown any signs that I wouldn't be good with them. I'm gentle by nature and just want to love and be loved.

Honestly, I like to think I'm made up of all the best personalities--sweet, calm, loving, curious, and loyal. I'm just looking for my person (or family) to share all of that with. I've been told I'm quite the looker--okay, more than told... people stop to ask about me all the time!

If you're looking for a devoted companion who will walk by your side, nap by your feet, and love you with my whole heart... I think we might be perfect for each other.
Please come meet me. I've been saving my best cuddles just for you.

***FOSTER TO ADOPT***
Lenox is Heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once his treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized. Once his adoption is finalized, it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a Heartworm test every 2 months to follow up on his treatment progress until he has a negative result which can take 2-9 months. During these months, you will need to make sure his heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise. Lenox will also need continued use of monthly Heartworm prevention going forward. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter.
If you are interested in adopting Lenox, please fill out an adoption application.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
