Meet Bilbo Baggins

From the "Lord of the Rings Litter," Bilbo Baggins is a 9-week-old fluffy adventurer with big feet, a big heart, and an even bigger future ahead of him! Much like his namesake Bilbo Baggins, this little guy may seem like a simple pup at first-but there's a brave, curious spirit just waiting for his next great adventure.

Bilbo is up for anything life throws his way-especially if it involves toys, playtime, or cuddles afterward! He enjoys romping with other dogs and has a friendly, social nature that helps him fit right in with canine companions. After a good play session, he's more than happy to settle down and soak up affection from his people. He hasn't met cats yet, but with slow and proper introductions, we think he could adjust well. He has done well with teenagers and adults so far, and may do well with children given appropriate introductions and supervision.

With a Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix dad and a Labrador mix mom, Bilbo is expected to grow into a large, sturdy dog-likely around 60-85 pounds when fully grown. He's fluffy, adorable, and still very much a puppy learning the basics of indoor life after being raised mostly outdoors, so he will need a patient family to help him continue building confidence and manners in a home environment.

While his name belongs to the famous hobbit who quite unexpectedly found himself on a grand adventure, this Bilbo's greatest journey will be from puppyhood into becoming a beloved family companion. And unlike his fictional counterpart, he is not destined for treasure-hoarding or quests across Middle-earth-but rather couch snuggles and backyard zoomies.

Please note that Bilbo does not come from working livestock guardian lines and would not be suitable for guarding flocks or herds.
