Austin is the sweetest boy. He is an owner surrender to us after the child of his family repeatedly hurt and abused him. He has been back in our care for three months and has come a long way but what he really needs is to be back with a family where he can get more one on one attention. He is s little timid at first but warms up quickly, although still a little head shy at first.
He is a beautiful boy, always happy. He loves following me around and will stay very close. He walks well on or off leash. He has a stuffed squirrel that is his and he carries it around, often hiding it from the other dogs until he is ready to play with it again.
He is great with dogs and cats. He does not try to chase the livestock or chickens. He is going to be the perfect boy for someone he only needs some TLC and attention so that he can fully come around and trust again. He has never been snappy even when we first got him and he was so afraid. A home with older calm children that are respectful of dogs would be wonderful.
He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative and on preventative.

Medical & Spay/Neuter Information:
Most puppies travel with two rounds of vaccines, and sometimes three. Occasionally, we may not have had a puppy long enough for a second round.
Puppies under 6 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy’s first birthday or by your veterinarian's recommendation, at the adopter’s expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.
Breed Disclaimer:
Breed is our best estimate based on the puppy’s appearance and, when known, the mother’s appearance. Fathers are rarely known, and litters can have multiple fathers, meaning puppies may be half-siblings with different breed mixes.
