When I rescued him, he was being raised by a drug dealer and in a pretty unstable environment from what I could tell. He knew I rescued him and I've never seen a more appreciative, well behaved dog walk into my life. I named him Clifford because everything about his personality is "Clifford the Big Red Dog" His favorite toy is a jumbo tennis ball. He also loves toys with rope bones in them and plush toys(with no stuffing). He treasures his toys and plays gently with them. He has done great with my smaller dogs....one is a 10 lb male chihuahua mix and the other is an older female dachshund mix. He also gets along well with my female Newfoundland/Lab mix. He is good with our cats as well, but they are very used to dogs and quite tolerant but also good at teaching dogs about cats. Clifford does not do well with other large breed male dogs, which is the primary reason I am having to rehome him.
