Domino - Great Dane Dog for Adoption in Stamford, Connecticut

Meet Domino! A Giant Girl with a Whole Lot of Love to Give!

Domino came to us this October as a New Hope medical pull from NYCACC after being surrendered when her owner became incarcerated. She arrived with a significant wound on her foot, but thankfully, she’s healing and moving toward a brighter future!

This sweet girl will be spayed and undergo a gastropexy in early November as she continues her journey toward finding her forever home.

Domino has been an absolute love here at Lucky Dog Refuge! As she settles into her new surroundings, we’re continuing to learn more about her personality. She’ll need some help polishing her leash skills, as she has shown reactivity toward other dogs while on leash. At this time, we’re still unsure how she feels about other dogs, so her compatibility with canine companions will need to be carefully assessed.

Because of her size and the unique challenges that can come with giant breeds, we would prefer adopters with giant-breed experience who understand the importance of training, patience, and setting her up for success.

Domino has already been through so much, and now she deserves a chance to heal, feel safe, and discover what it means to be truly loved. Could you be the person who helps her write her next chapter?

Interested in meeting Domino? Please apply through our website at luckydogrefuge.com. Once we receive your application, our team will reach out to discuss Domino and determine whether she might be the right fit for your home.

Let’s help this beautiful giant find the loving future she deserves!

She is estimated to be 2 years old.
