He's an energetic young dog who will thrive with an active family committed to giving him plenty of exercise, enrichment, and space to play.

Despite his impressive size, Nelson has an incredibly sweet and gentle nature. He takes treats softly, is housebroken, and has lived successfully in a home for the past year. Sadly, through no fault of his own, changing life circumstances meant his family could no longer keep him, and he's now searching for the forever home he truly deserves.

Nelson loves people and is especially wonderful with children. He can be a little shy when meeting some men at first, but with a little patience and kindness, his affectionate personality quickly begins to shine.
