Savvy - Great Dane Dog for Adoption in Pensacola, Florida

STURDY FENCE REQUIRED

FOSTERED IN GULF BREEZE

Savvy, aka Sauvignon Blanc, is an energetic 6-month-old Great Dane puppy with a spirited personality and playful temperament.

Savvy is being fostered with 5 other dogs, two Great Danes, a Mastiff, a Greyhound, and a 45lb pittie- mix. She loves playing with her younger siblings and follows around her Mastiff brother and takes her cues from him. She is great with taking corrections from her senior siblings who are more interested in enjoying couch life. Savvy loves snuggling up next to people or the other dogs and playing with her toys. Savvy would do well in a home with another dog in which she can get out her energy and take her cues from.

Savvy is fully potty trained and loves to grab and chew toys and mainly sticks from the yard. She is kept fully crated when we leave the house with a view of another crated dog because she is still going through her puppy phase and sometimes grabs a sock or two to carry around if left unsupervised. Savvy loves when people or other dogs come to visit and speeds around trying to get them to play.

Savvy came into the rescue as a surrender because she was a Double Merle. Double Merles are a result of bad breeding practices, most commonly known as spot x spot breeding. As such Savvy is deaf and has limited vision in her eyes. She seems to be able to see well enough close up but has problems seeing things at a distance. Because she is deaf, training is important as she will need to be taught visual and touch cues.

Savvy is an extremely loving and rambunctious puppy. If you are looking for a little white shadow that likes to cuddle up next to you, then Savvy is the girl for you

Savvy is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and on routine heartworm prevention.. Her adoption fee is $400.
