Meet Phantom (aka Blue)!

Phantom is a 3-year-old Great Dane with a heart every bit as big as he is. This handsome boy is deaf, but don't let that fool you—he's incredibly smart and is doing an amazing job learning hand signals. All he needs is a patient family willing to continue helping him learn, and he'll reward you with a lifetime of unconditional love.

Phantom is the definition of a Velcro dog. He absolutely loves his people and wants to be wherever they are, whether that's joining you for a walk, relaxing on the couch, or sneaking in for some oversized snuggles. He has a nice balance of energy—he enjoys getting out for exercise and playtime but is just as happy curling up beside you after a fun day.

This social butterfly gets along wonderfully with people of all ages, including children, and he's also great with other dogs and even cats. While he doesn't need another dog in the home, he'd certainly enjoy having a canine buddy to play with. He's house-trained, crate-trained, leash-trained, and has excellent manners around the house, making him an easy companion to welcome into your family.

Because Phantom is deaf, a securely fenced yard is required so he can safely explore and play. He walks well on a leash, although he gets excited when meeting new people or dogs—he just can't help making new friends!
