Isla - Great Dane Dog for Adoption in Lewis Center, Ohio

Isla is a gorgeous Great Dane. She is approximately one year-old. She was surrendered to the rescue by her owners after an accidental litter. Her solo surviving puppy is also with us but not available yet.

Isla is a little timid at first with new people and new dogs. But she warms up very quickly and then she wants to be with you forever. She is a big girl who is still learning her body, so she's kind of ungainly.

She has been allowed free roam in her foster home and had no issues with chewing on anything that is not hers or accidents. She took a few days to warm up to the dogs she's fostered with, but now plays for short spurts before returning to lounging or laying on her human.

She knows some basic commands like sit. She has not been around cats or children. Isla is good on leash and doesn't pull.

Isla received her first shots on 7/6 and will get her boosters 3 weeks after that. The adoption fee for this gorgeous girl is $350. The fee includes two rounds of shots and the spay and microchip at our partner veterinarian when she is ready to be spayed.
