Benny might be the penny you need for good luck, "See a penny (or a Benny) and pick it up all day long you'll have good luck!" Benny the 4 year old male Great Dane has had his world turned upside down and is looking for his personal Atlas to right his world. Could that be you? We don't have all the information on Benny but here is what we do know about how he landed in a shelter. He was found with Bobby, the Great Dane, in their home after their owner unfortunately passed away. These super super sweet boys were giant balls of nervous energy in the shelter after surviving an ordeal where four Great Danes were found in a home with their owner who had passed away. The dogs were in the house for a week with no water or food. One dog had passed by the time they were discovered and one was in too bad of shape and had to be put down. Benny and Bobby survived and this makes them today's BIG REASON that Big Dogs Huge Paws Rescue is here to help! Benny has allowed all handling and is a big love. He walks well on a leash and is good with other dogs. As we learn more about this precious survivor, we will update his Bio. Maybe Benny was named after Benjamin Franklin who said Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise.
