Please meet Miss Mavis. We believe her to be Great Dane or a Great Dane mix. She was found wandering in a parking lot looking for someone to help her. She found a wonderfully kind woman that couldn’t leave her behind and scooped her up. The local animal control was contacted and she was fostered by the kind family that found her during her stray hold. No one came looking, that is when her foster mom started looking for a rescue to carry on the process of finding her a great home!
She is the perfect puppy, if there is such a thing. She is well adjusted to both people and other dogs. Rides well in the car, seems to be housebroken, crate trained, she was living with a young child and was very loving and kind. Unfortunately, cats, chickens, etc are a no-no, she does have a moderate prey drive.
She loves to play with the water when it sprays out of the hose. Her foster mom had a pool and she stood on the sun shelf but never attempted to swim.
What a beautiful lady! I’m sure she will find a home quickly. If you are interested please click the link below. She will be on our website shortly.
