Meet Henry!

Henry is one handsome Great Dane/Bullmastiff mix who is ready to find his forever family!

Henry is a neutered male, estimated to be 18–24 months old, and like many young, extra-large dogs, he came to us with a little bit to learn about personal space, manners, commands, and appropriate play with other dogs.

GDRST knew this big boy just needed some guidance, so Henry headed off to a 28-day board-and-train program. And boy, did he shine!

Henry is one smart cookie and picked up his training beautifully. He went from being a bit of a wild child to understanding his commands, listening to his people, and making much better choices. His foster family will tell you that Henry is now an absolute joy to have in their home!

And when it comes to his crate? Henry is a pro! He does exceptionally well in his 54-inch crate and settles in like a champ.

Heartworm negative
Successfully completed a 28-day board-and-train program

ADOPTION CONTRIBUTION FEE: $350.00

In many cases, the cost of vetting services is greater than the adoption contribution. The adoption contributions help defray the costs of vetting services, but rarely, if ever, cover all expenses. Additional donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please consider making a donation to help offset medical expenses.

GDRST will have the following services completed as part of the adoption process. Each animal will be spayed or neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, heartworm treated if applicable, fecal tested, de-wormed, microchipped and monthly heartworm preventative

Please note GDRST is an all-volunteer, run by individuals with full time careers. In order to meet with a Dane that you are interested in, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, a volunteer will verify with your vet the care on your current or previous animals and then contact you to set up a home eval and to discuss which Dane may be a match for you.
