Meet Lola

Lola is a 3-year-old Great Dane weighing in at around 130 lbs. She came to us as a stray and was absolutely petrified at animal control—so scared she wouldn’t even stand or walk in her kennel. Since being in a home, she’s made incredible progress and is so much happier.

Lola has been well socialized with dogs, cats, and kids, and she’s finally learning what it means to just be a dog. She’s starting to show her playful side, and it’s been amazing to watch her come out of her shell.

Because of her size, Lola is looking for a home with children 8+. She loves being close to her people and doesn’t enjoy being alone for long, but she can handle short periods and has shown great house manners.

Lola is currently looking for a foster-to-adopt home while we complete her vetting. She will need to return to Hartland, MI for her spay appointment.

When adopted, Lola will be:
- Spayed
- Microchipped
- Vaccinated
- Heartworm tested
- Dewormed
- On flea, tick and heartworm prevention
