Don't let the name fool you-this sweet boy is all sugar! Sour Patch is a 4-month-old Great Dane mix who may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he realizes he's safe, his affectionate and playful personality shines through.

Since coming into foster care, Sour Patch has blossomed every day. He absolutely loves playing with his foster dog sibling and has done great around the resident cat, mostly choosing to ignore her. He's learning to play fetch and is eager to learn, especially when treats are involved-he takes them gently and is becoming more confident and engaged each day.

Sour Patch is making great progress with his potty training. He consistently goes to the bathroom when taken outside and is learning a regular routine, though he still has the occasional puppy accident. Like any young pup, he'll need a family committed to continuing his training and helping him grow into the amazing dog he's destined to be.

At the end of the day, his favorite place is right next to his people. He loves to cuddle and settles nicely in his crate after just a few minutes of whining.
