Joanna is a four-year-old Goldendoodle who weighs 45 pounds, and her journey has been nothing short of inspiring. When she first arrived at Dogsville, she was completely shut down, too frightened to believe the world could be a safe place. Today, thanks to patience, kindness, and gentle encouragement, she's making wonderful progress and beginning to discover the joy of simply being a dog.

While Joanna is still shy, she's slowly coming out of her shell. One of the sweetest milestones in her journey is that she'll now quietly follow the people she's beginning to trust, looking to them for reassurance and confidence. It's her gentle way of saying, "I think I'd like to be brave... if you'll stay with me."

Joanna has the softest, kindest soul. She isn't looking for someone to rush her-she's looking for someone to walk beside her as she continues to blossom. With every new experience, she's learning that love is real and that life can be full of comfort, safety, and happiness.

She gets along well with other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident canine companion who can continue showing her that the world is a wonderful place. Having another dog to follow and learn from will help her keep building confidence as she settles into her new life.
